Retreat on Christian Mysticism
The World Community for Christian
Meditation presents a retreat with teacher, composer, and musician Father
Cyprian Consiglio OSB entitled “East and West: The Universal Call of the
Spirit” on May 9 – 11 (Friday 7pm to 9pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm, and Sunday
9am to noon), at the Dominican Sisters Meeting Room, 6501 Almeda Road. The
retreat is based on the teachings and spirituality of Bede Griffiths OSB and
Abhishiktananda (Hendri Le Saux OSB). Prayer, song, meditation and
discussion are included in this experience which incorporates the best of
Eastern philosophy and practice and Western spirituality with a special
focus on the new Christian mysticism of the 21st century. The
retreat will conclude with a special Mother’s day liturgy. Visit
