Directions to the Rothko Chapel by Bus & METRORail

Bus from the Galleria: From bus stop at Post Oak and Hidalgo, take the 73 Bellfort Eastbound. There will be a sign that says Hobby Airport on the bus. Take the 73 to Richmond and Timmons. From there you will take the 25 Northline to Richmond and Mt. Vernon. You will walk north on Mt. Vernon. Take a left on Colquitt and a right on Yupon. The Rothko Chapel is located on the corner of Yupon and Sul Ross.

Bus from Downtown:
From any bus stop on Milam you can take the 78 Southbound. Get off on W. Alabama and Yupon. Walk south on Yupon. The Rothko Chapel is located on the corner of Yupon and Sul Ross.

METRORail from Downtown:
From Main St. Square, between Walker & Dallas, you catch the light rail southbound. Get off on the Wheeler stop. From Wheeler you will catch the 25 Richmond Southbound and take that to Richmond and Mt. Vernon. You will walk north on Mt. Vernon. Take a left on Colquitt and right on Yupon. The Rothko Chapel is located on the corner of Yupon and Sul Ross.

METRORail from the Medical Center:
From the TMC Transit Center, Fannin at Pressler, you catch the light rail northbound. Get off at the Wheeler stop. From Wheeler you will catch the 25 Richmond Southbound and take that to Richmond and Mt. Vernon. You will walk north on Mt. Vernon. Take a left on Colquitt and right on Yupon. The Rothko Chapel is located on the corner of Yupon and Sul Ross.

Bus from Bush-Intercontinental Airport:
Downtown bus service is available from Terminal C aboard bus #102/Bush IAH Express ($1.50 one-way). The bus runs every 30 minutes during normal business hours. Signal to stop at Smith and Lamar Streets, then catch the free A Trolley, which runs every 10 minutes. Signal the trolley to stop at Dallas and Austin Streets, then cross Dallas Street and walk one block to the ICF Consulting office at 1331 Lamar Street.

Bus from Hobby Airport:
Bus service is available aboard bus #101/Airport Express/Downtown ($1.50 one-way). The bus runs daily at irregular intervals so call ahead for more information. Signal to stop at St. Joseph Parkway and Austin Street, then catch the free E Trolley, which runs every 10 minutes. Signal the trolley to stop at Lamar and Caroline Streets. The ICF Consulting office is located at 1331 Lamar Street.
