Gayle Ross DeGeurin graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. with an Associate Arts degree and the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Education and Sociology. She received a diploma from the St. Nicholas Montessori training center in London and is a former Director of the Montessori School of Houston. She has continued her education over the years including Buddhist Studies at Rice University, Painting and Life Drawing at the Instituto de Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Art Therapy Theory and Practice at the University of Houston, and numerous classes from the Jung Center and the MFAH Glassell School of Art.
