This Saturday, April 20th, Rothko Chapel will operate on adjusted hours. The Chapel is open from 11am-12:15pm for our Earth Day program all are welcome. From 12:15pm-1:15pm, the Chapel will close for breakdown of the program. The Chapel will reopen for general visitation from 1:15pm-6pm.
Please join us as we honor Fairfax Dorn & Marc Glimcher and Reverend William "Bill" Lawson, three extraordinary individuals who have carried on the work of our founders, Dominique and John de Menil, by building and lifting up communities around the arts, spirituality and social justice.
With the Houston skyline as our background at the stunning Astorian, guests will enjoy a festive evening of cocktails, live music, seated dinner by A Fare Extraordinaire, and dancing.
