Intersection New Music Collective
Saturday, April 21, 3pm, Free

This program of exciting world premieres celebrates the intersection of spirituality, landscape, and folk traditions.  Composer Stephen Yip evokes the delicacy of Asian prints with haiku-inspired songs, the music of B. P. Herrington explores bluesy Southern roots music, and percussionist John Lane presents selections from Peter Garland’s "The Landscape Scrolls," reflecting a day in rural Maine.  Featuring readings of Thomas Merton’s poetry.
