International Women's Day: Celebrating Women's Leadership in Labor Organizing Movements
Featuring Dolores Huerta, American labor leader & civil rights activist

Participants heard from iconic women leaders in unions and labor organizing movements who were working toward the ongoing struggle for equal pay, anti-discrimination, and equal protections. They learned how to get involved in and be supportive of organizing efforts both regionally and nationally, and they joined in community building and the renewal of spirit for labor organizers.

Linda Morales, Organizing Coordinator, Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation/AFL-CIO
Elsa Flores, President, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Texas
Traci Latson, HISD Career Pathways teacher leader & Vice President of Houston Federation of Teachers Union
